Balázs LÓRÁND Ph.D.
Managing Director, Continental Autonomous Mobility Hungary
He started his career at the University of Pécs, where he worked as a lecturer and researcher, obtained a Ph.D. From 2013 he led data mining and data engineering projects at T-Systems and later GE.
He joined Continental in 2018, first building up the data engineering and infrastructure development team, and from 2020 he became Head of the Artificial Intelligence Development Center.
He successfully further expanded the Hungarian portfolio of activities with the opening of the Application Development Center in 2022, and under his leadership the umbrella organization of the two centers, Continental Autonomous Mobility Hungary, now operates a nationwide software development network.
From summer 2023, he also has global responsibility as Head of AI at the Autonomous Mobility business area.
