Mr. Dávid HEGYESI
Director, Supplier and Site Development Directorate, HIPA / Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency
Dávid Hegyesi graduated as an economist from Corvinus University of Budapest in 2016.
After that, he was responsible for developing sectoral strategies in the industrial strategy area of the Ministry of National Economy.
From 2017, he participated in the implementation of export development programs for small and medium-sized enterprises and the preparation of the National Export Strategy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
From 2018, as head of the export finance department, he led the development and implementation of the Export Development Grant Program. Since 2022, he has been working as the director of supplier and site development at the HIPA National Investment Agency.
The directorate actively participates in the site selection process of all investors associated with HIPA. The task of the supplier development field is to ensure that companies examining Hungary and those already settled have the widest possible knowledge of local supplier capabilities and use them to a greater extent. To this end, they organize business events and supplier development training. The field facilitates contact with domestic actors and the establishment of business meetings nearly 200-300 times a year.
